On the heels of the mini-musicals found at Disneyland Paris comes the first ever musical theater style live entertainment from its main European competitor in France (and Europe) Parc Astérix, inspired by the stories of the famous comic book series Asterix by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.  This theme park offers a variety of attractions and shows based on historical periods from the world of Asterix and his friends, whimsically celebrating Gaulish culture with over 50 attractions and shows, including roller coasters, water rides, and live performances.  This year, as part of its 35th anniversary celebration, an original musical comedy C’est du délire !, or It’s Madness!, billed as “the first Gallic musical comedy”, began performances on March 30th. 

Revered Finnish composer and musician Lauri Porra has released his spectacular new album Matter And Time. Scored for narrator, large orchestra, choir, electric ensemble and vocal soloist, Matter And Time finds Porra bringing together an array of musical influences to create a hugely ambitious work, in both scope and sound. It features broadcasting legend Stephen Fry as the narrator. Acclaimed Irish indie rock band Pillow Queens is diving into intoxicating feelings with punchy, cathartic track and official video 'Heavy Pour' out now ahead of their LP release on Friday, April 19. The band's triumphant third studio album Name Your Sorrow is due out April 19 and available for pre-order now. This June, Pillow Queens will perform live across the UK and will support Snow Patrol in Limerick, IR on July 12 ahead of their biggest show to date on July 13 at Dublin, Ireland's Iveagh Gardens. Watch the music video for the new song here!
