City Center's production of Bat Boy the Musical has recorded a new cast album! A new video shows Taylor Trensch (Bat Boy), Kerry Butler (Meredith Parker), Christopher Sieber (Dr. Parker), and Gabi Carrubba (Shelley Parker) in the recording studio.

What about musicals that had been ahead of their time, musicals that had fallen prey to circumstances, early works by writers who became successful later on, and of course, shows that found an audience after closing via their cast recordings?

Kerry Butler is taking a month off of Off-Broadway's Heathers the Musical to star in City Center's Bat Boy! Butler – who starred in the original production of the Off-Broadway musical – will be taking on the role of Meredith Parker.
