The Muny announced today the 12 extraordinary dancers and singers for its third show of its 103rd Season, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, August 12-18. Joining the previously announced Kendra Kassebaum (Milly Bradon) and Edward Watts (Adam Pontipee) are Raymond Baynard (Caleb), Colby Dezelick (Frank), and more.

This 2011 musical based on the 1935 film of the same name, tells the story of Broadway sensation Jerry Travers who dances his way across Europe to win the heart of society girl Dale Tremont. With an uplifting and entertaining script, this show celebrates 1930s song, style and romance. Underpinning every scene are Irving Berlin's magnificent songs including ;Puttin' on the Ritz', 'Cheek to Cheek', 'Isn't This A Lovely Day', and of course, 'Top Hat, White Tie & Tails'

The Theatre World Awards Board of Directors announced today, as a departure from the annual awards ceremony, will present a one-night only virtual event to honor Broadways best with a Special Gala Award Benefit to help raise funds for the prestigious Theatre World Awards.

On June 30th, The REV Theatre Company reopens its historic flagship venue, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, with the song and dance spectacular, 42nd Street. From Jeff Whitty, the creator of Avenue Q, and the Scissor Sister's Jake Shears and John Garden comes ARMISTEAD MAUPIN'S TALES OF THE CITY, THE MUSICAL based on Armistead Maupin's landmark series of novels about San Francisco in the 70s. The presentation is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the premiere musical staging at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater in 2011.
