The Suwannee Roots Revival has announced its initial lineup for 2024, which includes Old Crow Medicine Show, Yonder Mountain String Band, Donna the Buffalo (4 days), and more. The 8th Suwannee Roots Revival takes place Thursday, October 10 - Sunday, October 13 at the renowned Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida. Overall, this is a well-paced, charming show with both heartwarming and heartbreaking moments, and a whole lot of love for the Carpenters.

MGM has released the trailer for the upcoming film Blink Twice, starring Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie. When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. But as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. Her music is intimate, vulnerable, confrontational, autobiographical, and strangely uplifting. Buffalo Tom offers an early listen of Autumn Letter, the latest single from their forthcoming album Jump Rope, with a premiere on Magnet Magazine. Recorded at Woolly Mammoth Sound, “Autumn Letter” was the first song the group tackled fresh out of pandemic quarantine.“It reminds me of a certain kind of classic Buffalo Tom song from our Let Me Come Over era,” says Bill Janovitz. “It’s big, open chords are strummed way up high on the capo’d guitar neck, with a little Van Morrison Celtic melodic tinge.'
