Broadway star Howard McGillin brings his 'Never Been Younger' cabaret to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, April 26, at 7pm, as part of the Helsinki on Broadway series presented by Showstoppers NY in association with Gary DiMauro. The two-time Tony Award nominee is best known for his record-setting run playing the title role in 'The Phantom of the Opera.'

A production of the fun-loving musical comedy PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT will run in the Venus Cabaret Theater from March 20 through June 28. The press opening is Sunday, March 29 at 7:30pm. Philly's funniest friends, Artistic Director at Act II Playhouse, Tony Braithwaite, and Producing Artistic Director at 1812 Productions, Jennifer Childs, have created and are sharing the spotlight in a new comedy cabaret, Together Again For the First Time. Vocalist Storm Large, who shot to national prominence in 2006 as a finalist on the CBS show Rock Star: Supernova, brings her rock-fueled cabaret act to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, September 29, at 8pm. Storm Large's repertoire ranges from original, sweaty and steamy hard-rock numbers; standards such as Jacques Brel's 'Ne Me Quitte Pas' and Cole Porter's 'I've Got You Under My Skin'; and rock-era ballads by Randy Newman and Lou Reed. She is also a vocalist with neo-lounge act Pink Martini. Storm spent the 1990s singing in clubs throughout San Francisco. Tired of the club scene, she moved to Portland to pursue a new career as a chef, but a last-minute cancellation in 2002 at a Portland club turned into a standing Wednesday night engagement for Storm and her new band, The Balls. It wasn't long before Storm had a cult-like following in Portland, and a renewed singing career that was soon to be launched onto the international stage.

The show is both highly entertaining and brutally tragic; sadly fitting to the world we currently find ourselves living in.

The day after she closed in Hello Dolly on Broadway, Kate Baldwin flew to Michigan for a well-earned vacation. With 550 performances for her Tony-nominated portrayal of Irene Molloy behind her, Baldwin was looking forward to relaxing with her family.

Each year, Phantom Projects Theatre Group provides donates $20,000 in theatre tickets and performances to non-profits, schools, and youth groups. In addition nearly $60,000 in tickets are underwritten allowing groups to be bussed in to field trip performances at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. The ability to do this every year, is due to the annual event: The Phantom Cabaret: A Benefit Gala for Arts Education, taking place on May 4 at the La Mirada Country Club. Through an evening of entertainment, dinner, silent auction and more, the event pays tribute to the non-profit organization's work with at-risk youth through the performing arts.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' on February 10, 2019 at 2pm. Turchin has previously performed two successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage.
