Every year, the Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History thrills kids and adults alike with ZooBoo, a three-night Halloween extravaganza. Costumed kids and their families will wind their way through the decorated exhibits and walkways in the Zoo collecting candy and trinkets at a variety of treat tents with costumed presenters. Highlights include the Creepy Carousel a?" which kids can ride, a giant elephant pumpkin, lighted animal displays, and the a?oeHall of Flames,a?? which features over 300 hand-carved and lit Jack-o'-lanterns. Along the way, visitors dressed as their favorite superheroes or movie characters also will pass by the Endangered Species Graveyard and see the markers for extinct animals like the Dodo Bird and Caspian Tiger.

Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres, Robert Hastie today announces the full casting for his revival of Guys and Dolls - Natalie Casey (Miss Adelaide), Darragh Cowley (Lt Brannigan), Dafydd Emyr (Big Jule), Jacob Fisher (Harry the Horse), Adrian Hansel (Benny Southstreet), Dawn Hope (General Cartwright), Kadiff Kirwan (Sky Masterson), TJ Lloyd (Nicely-Nicely Johnson), Matthew Malthouse (Rusty Charlie), Martin Marquez (Nathan Detroit), Ross McLaren (Angie the Ox), Garry Robson (Arvide Abernathy), and Alex Young (Sarah Brown) with Shaquille Brush (Havana Boy), Frances Camier (Havana Girl), Charlotte Coggin, Adam Denman, Emily Dunn, Tash Holway, Samantha Hull, Kate Playdon and Anthony Starr. The production opens on 12 December, with previews from 7 December, and runs until 18 January 2020.

Bristol Riverside Theatre follows up its season opener, An Act of God, with Kim Wayans and continues its 33rd Season with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's Broadway hit, Next To Normal. This Tony and Pulitzer winning musical drama about a family coming apart at its center runs October 29 to November 24, 2019. Opening Night is Thursday, October 31 at 7:30pm. BRT's Artistic Director Keith Baker directs this rock musical that features NYC-based actress Donna Vivino in the role of Diana.. Zachary James, bass, will be making his highly anticipated Metropolitan Opera debut on November 8 in the Met premiere of Philip Glass' Akhnaten. Described as a 'true stage animal' by Opera News, James is an international opera singer known for his 'huge, robust bass' which 'resonates with force' (Bach Track), 'tremendous power and presence' (The Arts Desk, London) and 'intrinsically beautiful', 'cavernous bass' with 'oomph and range' (Opera News). Akhnaten, directed by Phelim McDermott, runs November 8 through December 7. On November 23, the production will be part of the Met's 'Live in HD' movie theater transmission series and will be broadcast to cinemas across the world.
