One of the most captivating musicals ever to be adapted for the stage, An American in Paris, makes its regional premiere at the Ogunquit Playhouse July 11 through August 4. This exquisite musical is inspired by the Academy Award-winning film that starred Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron and features music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin with book by Craig Lucas. The Ogunquit Playhouse is proud to be the first regional theatre in the U.S. to produce this new musical, which won four Tony Awards in 2015. For a strictly-limited two week run (1-13 September), this exciting new revival will play the intimate London Theatre Workshop with a talented and versatile cast of 13 actors in multiple roles. This ambitious new production stars Ross Barnes (Carousel Opera North, Little Shop of Horrors, White Bear/Landor) as Leo Frank and Lily De-La-Haye as Lucille Frank. Daniel Holley and Kerry Loosemore play the roles of Frankie Epps and Mary Phagan respectively. Daniel was recently featured on Britain's Got Talent as a member of the 'Kingdom Tenors' and Kerry makes her professional debut.

Ted Sperling will conduct the New York Philharmonic and vocalists Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana in A Broadway Romance, a one-night-only Valentine's Day concert, Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. The program will feature songs from popular musicals ranging from Bernstein's West Side Story and Gershwin's Girl Crazy to Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel and Stephen Sondheim's Company, woven together to tell a unified narrative of a romance from beginning to end, from meeting to first date to falling in love to marriage.
