On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, I had the excellent opportunity to sit down with Eric Sciotto, Director and Choreographer of Rock of Ages at MTWichita, and Brian J. Marcum, Artistic Director at MTWichita. It was a wide ranging interview, with a very stream of consciousness feel, and they were gracious enough to grant me an hour over a lunch break during rehearsal last Tuesday. The energy was high, and I was able to get some excellent insight into Eric’s choreographic process. I also spoke to Brian about leading MTWichita into a new era.

Dua Lipa is set to release 'Dance the Night,' a new single from the upcoming Barbie movie soundtrack, this Friday. The song will be released at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 25. The Philly POPS has announced Get Up, Stand Up! at the Kimmel Cultural Campus on February 17-19, 2023. The concert will feature songs by the greatest soul and R&B legends. One of the best ways to #SAVETHEPOPS is by coming to see the POPS! 

The full cast has been announced for the upcoming Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, starring Tony and Grammy-nominated multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park with George).

The UK and Ireland Tour of Disney's The Lion King will welcome 12 new members to its cast of over 50 actors, singers and dancers this winter. The award winning landmark musical is currently playing a season at Manchester Palace until 11 March, where over 300,000 people will experience the show during the only North West dates.

Broadway favorite Kate Rockwell and husband Spencer Howard have welcomed their first child. Sylvie Violet Howard was born on October 19, 2022.

The Epstein Theatre will present The Wizard Of Oz from Friday 21 October to Sunday 30 October 2022. The stunning show promises to be packed with fantastic performances, fabulous costumes, and lots of laughs. The panto is directed by Olivia Sloyan.

TIIT HELIMETS, principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet, will appear as a guest artist in the Allen Civic Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker,  at the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School in Allen, Texas on December 17 (Evening) and 18 (Matinee), 2022.
