These two-year fellowships include full salary and benefits, and offer recipients the opportunity to gain both artistic and administrative experience, including substantial interaction with all departments, guest artists and community members. Each fellowship is designed to be customizable to the recipient's needs and passions, culminating in a slot directing or stage managing a show in the Playhouse's subscription season.

Namus Classics to Present 시음 /si-úm/ with Pianist Jeeyoon Kim

Award-winning classical pianist, Jeeyoon Kim is thrilled to announce her newest project, 시음 /si-úm/ which blends classical piano with poetry and black and white photography by Allen T. Brown. The title of this concert, 시음 pronounced as /si-úm/ is a blend meaning poetry and music in Korean. It is also the title of a performance project and album that Jeeyoon has been developing since the pandemic began. She will take this solo piano performance to twenty cities across the U.S. in the upcoming concert season, including a performance at New York City’s Carnegie Hall. This will be her very first performance of this project at a world class concert hall, The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, in La Jolla, San Diego County.  
2022 GI Film Festival Announces Film Lineup

Organizers of the GI Film Festival San Diego are thrilled to announce a diverse film lineup for its annual event happening May 17-21, 2022 at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) in Balboa Park. The film festival is dedicated to presenting films and events for, by and about military and veterans, and is set to return to in-person screenings for the first time since 2019. The online box office will open on April 1 at GIFilmFestivalSD.org.
