Mendocino Theatre Company is proud to announce the North Coast Premiere of THE MOORS by Jen Silverman, running July 21 - August 21, 2022 at 45200 Little River Street in Mendocino. The deliciously dark comedy is directed by Roxy Seven and stars Pamela Allen, Jessica Carroll, Ricci Dedola, Mark Friedrich, Laurel Livezy and Jasmine Norris. THE MOORS runs Thursday Sunday.Obliquely inspired by the lives of the famous Bronte sisters, Ann, Emily and Charlotte, who grew up on the windswept landscape of the Yorkshire Moors, Jen Silverman creates a haunting, funny and sometimes provocative play in which two sisters and a dog live out their lives on the bleak English moors, dreaming of love and power. The arrival of a hapless governess and a moor-hen set all three on a strange and dangerous path. The Moors is a dark comedy about love, desperation, and visibility.
