THE GIN GAME Runs at Artists Rep, Now thru 4/28

Artists Rep will present The Gin Game by D.L. Coburn, starring Allen Nause and Vana O'Brien, directed by JoAnn Johnson. This two-person, two-act play is a 1978 Pulitzer Prize winner and garnered multiple Tony Award nominations both with its original 1977 production and the Broadway revival in 1997. This play replaces the originally planned production of The Invisible Hand by Ayad Akhtar.

Portland Shakespeare Project announces that its third season will include William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and John Fletcher's The Tamer Tamed (staged reading) running in rotating repertory, July 10 though August 4, 2013. Both shows will be performed on the Alder Stage at Artists Repertory Theatre. Tickets are on sale now at the Artists Rep Box Office. Plays run in rep Wednesday through Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2pm and 7:30pm, Sunday at 2pm. Full schedule and more information at www.portlandshakes.org.
Profile Theatre Moves to Artists Repertory Theatre

Artists Rep and Profile Theatre announce that Profile will make Artists Repertory Theatre their new home. Profile will produce and rehearse their next season at Artists Rep, beginning in January with their 2014 Sam Shepard Season. This June, Profile will move their business office from their current location at the Theater! Theatre! Building in SE Portland, to offices on the east side of the Artists Rep campus.
SOMEWHERE IN TIME Completes Casting for Portland World Premiere

Casting is now complete for Portland Center Stage's (PCS) upcoming world-premiere production of the new musical Somewhere in Time, based on the novel by renowned author Richard Matheson (I Am Legend, What Dreams May Come) and the subsequent hit film starring Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour and Christopher Plummer.
Milagro Theatre Celebrates International Women's Day Today

In 2013, Milagro celebrates International Women's Day by uniting with experts and community leaders in a delightful afternoon dedicated to wellness that focuses on the challenges faced by local Latinas. This year's topic will be Liderazgo Materna: Parental Involvement in Education. Milagro's annual multi-disciplinary Spanish-language program, Mundo de las Mujeres, will be held today, March 2, at El Centro Milagro (537 SE Stark St., Portland), from 1-5 p.m. with a performance of Las Methichis a short play written by Ana Consuelo Matiella. Las Methichis is about how to advocate for children if when one does not speak English and how to persevere even when one does not have the support one needs. This event is free and open to the public.
Broadway's Justin Brill to Teach Master Class at Lakewood Theatre, 4/13-14

Broadway veteran Justin Brill will return for a two-day master class April 13 and 14, 2:00-5:00 PM at Lakewood Theatre. Mr. Brill conducted a one-day musical theatre workshop at LTC last year while in Portland with the National Tour of Wicked, which resulted in an overwhelming response.

These two characters from the hit web series, 'Coco & Ruby,' written by Rachel Roderman and directed by Steve Brian, will shuffle-ball-change right out of your computer screen tonight, February 15th to bring you a LIVE show full of old-school comedy and musicianship reminiscent of Lucille Ball and Betty Hutton. The Coco & Ruby Variety Hour will include many of your favorite WWII era standards, as well as vintage takes on contemporary pop songs.
