The PreCog is a science fiction piece which was inspired by the life and works of Philip K. Dick, the writer behind Minority Report, Total Recall, Blade Runner, and The Man in the High Castle. In this story, a genius-level physicist begins hearing a voice who tells her about the future. She finds that the voicethe Entityis not only right, but often indispensable, warning her of a murder attempt, an injury to her son, and when she would meet her true love. As time progresses, her wife and son protest the Entitys involvement in their lives. The scenes will be performed in a random order each show, as determined by the audience at the beginning of the piece, in a nod to Philip K. Dicks belief in Chance Theory.
