Today we rewind to 2015, when An American in Paris opened at the Palace Theatre, where it played for 623 performances. Directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, An American in Paris was inspired by the Academy-Award winning film, and starred Robert Fairchild, Leanne Cope, Veanne Cox, Jill Paice, Brandon Uranowitz, and Max von Essen.

Today we rewind back to 2010, when the second revival of La Cage Aux Folles celebrated its eleven Tony nominations. La Cage Aux Folles played for 433 performances at the Longacre Theatre.

The 30th annual Easter Bonnet Competition, celebrating six weeks of fundraising by 58 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies, raised a record-shattering $5,528,568 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the largest grand total from either an Easter Bonnet Competition or Gypsy of the Year fundraising campaign in Broadway Cares history.
