Saturday Night Live went in a new direction with their cold open this week, taking on two of the world's hottest pop culture phenomenons - The Avengers and Game of Thrones.

Last night, Saturday Night Live was back with a new timely cold open. In the sketch, Steve Harvey (Kenan Thompson) hosts a special Deal or No Deal where President Trump (Alec Baldwin) fields offers from members of Congress, like Nancy Pelosi (Kate McKinnon), Chuck Schumer (Alex Moffat), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Melissa Villaseñor) and Maxine Waters (Leslie Jones), to end the government shutdown.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network revealed today the official trailer for its new dating series “Ready to Love,” from hitmaking producer Will Packer (“Night School,” “Girls Trip”). The series, hosted by Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, is set for a two-night premiere on OWN Tuesday, October 23 (10-11 p.m. ET/PT) and Saturday, October 27 (10-11 p.m. ET/PT) and will air Saturdays at 10 p.m. for the remainder of its series run.
