Tonight, Chicago welcomed actress and singer Olivia Holt making her Broadway as “Roxie Hart”, Kimberly Marable in the role of “Velma Kelly,” Liam Fennecken in the role of “Amos Hart”, and welcomed back Charity Angél Dawson as “Matron 'Mama' Morton' and Erich Bergen as 'Billy Flynn'. See video of their opening night bows!

Last night, September 12, Angelica Ross ('Pose,' 'American Horror Story') made her Broadway debut in the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago.  Also joining the company on Monday were Brandon Victor Dixon in the role of 'Billy Flynn' and Amra-Faye Wright who returned to the role of 'Velma Kelly'. Chicago will celebrate 25 years on Broadway tomorrow Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30PM with a very special performance. Beginning at 5PM on the TKTS Red Steps in Times Square the Brooklyn United Marching Band will march to 49th Street playing Kander & Ebb music. The Ambassador Theatre will be lit in red with a star-studded red carpet. 

Yesterday was good, grand, and great- wasn't it? After an 18-month long shutdown, four Broadway musicals re-opened last night, and one of them was the Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago. Everything came up roses tonight at the reopening of Chicago on Broadway as the company tossed handfuls of rose petals to celebrate their first curtain call back at the Ambassador! 

At tonight's reopening of Broadway's Chicago, the show's director Walter Bobbie paid tribute to the production's legendary choreographer and original star, Ann Reinking, who passed away in December 2020.

Broadway is back in the park! Broadway in Bryant Park has returned for the 2018 season, bringing the best of Broadway together for free performances for six consecutive weeks from through Thursday, August 16. The Bryant Park stage is located at 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. Lawn seating is first-come, first-serve.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 14 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

Actress and DANCING WITH THE STARS winner Rumer Willis made her Broadway debut as 'Roxie Hart' in Broadway's Chicago just last week. She will now play a 6-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC) through Sunday, November 1, 2015. She just stopped by GMA to chat with Robin Roberts about her debut and perform what else, but 'Roxie'. Check out a video, followed by photos from the appearance below!
