Stage and screen star Alan Cumming, a Tony Award winner for his unforgettable Broadway debut as the Emcee in the revival of Cabaret, will share his wit, charm and talents at this year's BUCKS COUNTY CABARET, a one-night-only concert produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The eclectic evening of popular songs and Broadway show tunes will be held tonight, October 19, 2013, at the historic Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, presented its one-night-only, all-star concert of the acclaimed 1983 Broadway musical Baby at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, on Monday, June 18. Tony Award-winning director John Doyle, who has previously staged Broadway revivals of Stephen Sondheim's SWEENEY TODD and COMPANY, directs the composer-lyricist's musical MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park which runs through March 31. The American premiere of John Doyle's Ten Cents a Dance opens today on the Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) Main Stage. The refined production of the new Rodgers and Hart musical, which Doyle first conceived at England's Watermill Theatre, marks the first time a new musical has ever been presented on WTF's Main Stage. Ten Cents a Dance will be the final presentation on the Main Stage for the 2011 Season at WTF, running through August 28, 2011 and opening August 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.Ten Cents a Dance is a co-production with McCarter Theatre Center. Performances at McCarter Theatre Center begin September 9, 2011. John Doyle's latest project, TEN CENTS A DANCE, will play August 11-28 at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. TEN CENTS A DANCE, conceived and directed by John Doyle, features music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Lorenz Hart.

The first video has turned up from the world premiere of Little Miss Sunshine at the La Jolla Playhouse. The musical features Tony Award-winning creative team of composer/lyricist William Finn and playwright/director James Lapine.

Last night, February 8, the stars came out to honor stage and screen legend Angela Lansbury at The Drama League's 26th annual all-star gala, 'A MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF BROADWAY' at the Pierre New York.
