Today we flashback to 2010, when Next to Normal performed on the Bryant Park stage. Next to Normal opened on April 15, 2009 at the Booth Theatre, where it played for 733 performances. Directed by Michael Greif, the musical starred Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Adam Chanler-Berat, Jennifer Damiano, Aaron Tveit and Louis Hobson.

It's definitely not just another day because this week, the Tony Award-winning musical Next to Normal celebrates the tenth anniversary of opening at Broadway's Booth Theatre! In honor of the occasion, we're looking back at the show's Off-Broadway opening at Second Stage Theater with Alice Ripley, Brian D'Arcy James, Aaron Tveit, Jenn Damiano, and more! The students of Colony High School in Dallas, Texas have quite the exciting legacy with their production of Bonnie & Clyde. All their sets, costumes and props, which includes three cars, come from the original Broadway production which starred Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan.

It has been almost five years since Next to Normal played its final Broadway performance, but the show lives on! Just this week, some of the original Broadway cast (Alice Ripley, Louis Hobson and Jennifer Damiano) traveled to Buenos Aries to preform with the Argentinean cast- Casi Normales. The Holy Grail of Entertainment at The 5th Avenue Theatre: Monty Python's Spamalot. Featuring an all-star Seattle cast. Lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with Book and Lyrics by Eric Idle; Music by Eric Idle, John Du Prez, and Neil Innes. Lee (Dexter) and Van Hughes (American Idiot: The Musical, national tour) as rock legend Kurt Cobain/Nirvanov. Kirsten Delohr Helland and Williams A. Williams perform 'Faded and Jaded' from the show. LEAP OF FAITH plays its final performance today, May 13, at Broadway's St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) after the matinee performance. Broadway's LEAP OF FAITH opened on Thursday April 26 and will have played 24 previews and 20 regular performances.
