Broadway legend Bernadette Peters was honored with the Craig Zadan Theatre for Life Award by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) at the annual star-studded Thespians Go Hollywood Gala held on Monday, November 18, at The Avalon in Hollywood, California. Over 300 people were on hand to help raise more than $180,000 that will support ETF's national theatre education programs for schools in need.

The late, legendary producer Craig Zadan, and his producing partner, Neil Meron, were honored last night as the inaugural recipients of the Theatre for Life Award by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) for the imaginative transformation of live theatre in film, television, and associated media. TODAY's Hoda Kotb sat down with John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Brandon Victor Dixon and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber to talk about their live performance of "Jesus Christ Supertar Live in Concert," which attracted more than 10 million viewers. Just last night, Seth Meyers brought Jesus Christ Superstar to life in 'Popsicle Schticks'. The parody starts off with a quick nod to the iconic song 'Superstar,' then moves on to 'What's The Buzz?'. However, the lyrics sound a little more like this: 'What's the schtick? Tell me, what's a popsicle?' and 'Why should you want a schtick? Don't you mind about the popsicle.'
