The Drama Book Shop will host a reading, discussion and signing for Tony Award-winning set designer Beowulf Boritt’s new book, Transforming Space Over Time: Set Design and Visual Storytelling with Broadway’s Legendary Directors on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:00pm.

Michael R. Jackson's WHITE GIRL IN DANGER will begin previews on March 15, 2023 and will officially open on April 10, 2023 at Second Stage’s Off-Broadway home, the Tony Kiser Theater. The limited 8-week run will play through Sunday, May 21, 2023.

The Howard Community College (HCC) Theatre Program has announced its 2022-2023 season, which includes theatre for young audiences, a Thornton Wilder play, a stage combat show, a Shakespeare comedy, and a free outdoor musical. 

TheaterWorks Hartford will open its 2022-2023 season with Fun Home. The cast for Fun Home includes Broadway veterans Aaron Lazar as Bruce, Christiane Noll as Helen, and Sarah Beth Pfeifer.

Second Stage Theater has announced casting for the Broadway debut production of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play, BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, directed by Austin Pendleton. The production will star Victor Almanzar, Elizabeth Canavan, Rosal Colon and more.

Marquette Theatre has announced the schedule for its 48th annual season, “Expectations.” Performances will return to live theatre in the Evan and Marion P. Helfaer Theatre, 1304 W. Clybourn St.

Second Stage Theater will kick off its 44th Season with the New York Premiere of CAMP SIEGFRIED, the new play from Tony Award-nominee BESS WOHL, directed by Tony Award-winner DAVID CROMER. Broadway veteran Maureen McGovern has revealed that she has been diagnosed with posterior cortical atrophy with symptoms of Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia. In a message on her official website, Maureen shared that she can no longer travel, perform in concerts, or even drive.
