Op woensdag 27 en donderdag 28 december viert Disney het 100-jarig bestaan met vier shows van Disney100 in Concert in de Ziggo Dome Amsterdam. Jamai is toegevoegd aan de line-up en daarmee is deze compleet. Jamai Loman, Willemijn Verkaik, Vajèn van den Bosch, April Darby, Stanley Burleson en Jonathan Vroege zingen de grootste klassiekers uit 100 jaar Disney repertoire. Samen met een groot live-orkest onder leiding van Maurice Luttikhuis worden de Disney hits gezongen met uiteraard de iconische filmbeelden op een groot scherm. Wegens groot succes zijn er twee extra concerten van Disney 100 in Concert toegevoegd; op woensdag 27 december om 19:30 uur en donderdag 28 december om 12:00 uur in de Ziggo Dome Amsterdam. De kaartverkoop voor de extra shows is geopend. Afgelopen week werd bekend dat Willemijn Verkaik (originele stem van Elsa uit Frozen), Vajèn van den Bosch (originele stem van Vaiana in de gelijknamige film en Mirabel in Encanto), April Darby (Nederlandse stem van Nala in de live actionfilm The Lion King) en Stanley Burleson (onlangs te zien als de Geest in de musical Aladdin & stem van Facilier in De Prinses en de Kikker) de grootste hits gaan zingen uit het omvangrijke Disney repertoire. Let's call it a year. Recovering from the pandemic episode, home alone, only connected via Video Calls, (more or less) entertained by living room concerts instead of spending a night out at the theatre, we got the opportunity to enjoy various shows over Austria and Germany. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Rebecca the Musical in Vienna at the Raimund Theater. Known for being 'the two most successful German-language musical authors,' Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay's Rebecca has already captivated more than 2 million people worldwide in 12 countries and 10 languages.
REBECCA, the musical about love and obsession reaching from beyond the grave, is back! Daphne Du Maurier's novel has been adapted several times successfully for stage and screen, like Alfred Hitchcock's Academy-Awarded Version or the late Netflix Adaption with Lily James and Armie Hammer. Silvester Levay (Music) and Michael Kunze (Book and Lyrics) brought up a Musical Version of Du Maurier's gothic thriller back in 2006.

Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay ('Elisabeth,' 'Mozart!') have created another magnificent masterpiece that has already captivated more than 2 million visitors* worldwide in twelve countries and ten languages. The spectacular production, based on the world-famous novel by Daphne du Maurier, is coming back to Vienna this September. De vakjury, bestaande uit Jon van Eerd, Hilde Scholten, Arno Gelder, Dianne Zuidema, Joy Kreiken, Maurice Luttikhuis, Michiel de Regt, Henriëtte Tol en Rennie Rijpma, heeft in 19 verschillende categorieën de winnaars verkozen. Grote winnaar is Disney's Aladdin met 7 awards. Aladdin ontving ook nog de Leukstetickets.nl Publieksprijs voor Beste Musical 2022, deze award werd uitgereikt door Stanley Burleson. De musical The Rocky Horror Show ontving de award voor Beste Kleine Musical en 14 de musical ontving de award voor Beste Nederlands Oorspronkelijke Musical.

Publiek kan sinds begin maart hun stem uitbrengen op leukstetickets.nl. De prijsuitreiking vindt plaats op 28 april 2022 in RTM Stage, de grote theaterzaal van Rotterdam Ahoy en wordt om 20.35 uur live uitgezonden door AVROTROS op NPO1.
