London is never short of temptations, whether splashy West End shows, epic dramas or bold fringe offerings. From timely plays to the beginning of open-air theatre season, here are some of this month's most eye-catching openings. Magic at the Musicals with Celebrity Cruises returns to the beautiful surroundings of London's Royal Albert Hall on Friday 10th May, with a brand new line-up of leading cast member performances from the West End's most celebrated shows.

AT THIS PERFORMANCE... returns featuring Standbys and Understudies from BE MORE CHILL; CHOIR BOY; ONCE ON THIS ISLAND; THE OTHER JOSH COHEN; SUPERHERO and SWEENEY TODD on MONDAY, APRIL 8TH at 7 PM.

Lambert Jackson today announce a competition for male performers, offering the winner the opportunity to perform in their upcoming production Main Men of Musicals at Cadogan Hall on 31 May. This follows the success of similar competitions for Lambert Jackson's previous one-night only concerts There's Nothin' Like A Dame and West End Women.

Stars of the West End, including Aladdin's genie, Trevor Dion Nicholas, who was recently also seen on ITV's All Star Musicals, will be performing in an evening of musical theatre in London as 'Songs for Jeremy' returns to the Southwark Playhouse for the second year running on 12 May, in aid of The Good Grief Trust.

Following sell-out shows over the past three years, Magic at the Musicals is set to return to the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 10th May.

In the sleeve for his debut album Only Dreaming Matt Croke writes: 'as a small boy I always loved listening to albums - I dreamt and hoped that one day I would be lucky enough to actually make one myself. Years later… here it is.' Currently playing the titular role in the West End production of Aladdin, Croke's Only Dreaming is a celebration of roles and songs he knows and loves, some roles he has played, other's perhaps to come. What is for sure though, is that the whole album shines with an infinitely likeable charm and ease.

All Star Musicals has announced its panel of expert critics, an assembly of some of the West End and Broadway's most celebrated names, each of whom the seven performing celebrities will be aiming to impress as they take to the stage at the London Palladium.

Following on from the success of There's Nothin' Like A Dame and the upcoming West End Women, Lambert Jackson today announces Main Men of Musicals. Luke Bayer, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Ben Forster, and Liam Tamne come together to perform some of the biggest musical theatre hits at Cadogan Hall on 31 May.

Matt Croke, currently starring in the title role of Disney's stage musical ALADDIN, will release his debut album, ONLY DREAMING, on Friday 7th of December (digitally) and Friday 14th of December on CD.

Chatting to the teams at the Prince Edward Theatre (Aladdin) and the Theatre Royal Haymarket (Heathers the Musical), both explained how being 'a people person' is so key to the role. In addition to being the eyes and ears of the theatre, in a way they're the heart of it too, a sentiment echoed by others in the buildings...

It doesn't get much more perfect that spending an Arabian night in this theatre to see a beloved story that is also set in the magical and mystical land of the Far East. Between the scenery of the theatre and the magic provided by the performance, you'll have a hard time distinguishing if you're in Atlanta or Agrabah when seeing Disney's ALADDIN at The Fox Theatre.
