Tina Turner ging in februari succesvol in première, maar moest in maart alweer de deuren sluiten in verband met de uitbraak van het coronavirus. Producent Stage Entertainment ziet na de versoepeling van de coronamaatregelen de mogelijkheid om de musical coronaproof weer van start te laten gaan. De cast begint in september met de repetities en speelt op 1 november zijn eerste voorstelling. Op 8 november gaat de musical opnieuw in première.
