Shakespeare & Company's production of The Chairs - written by Eugène Ionesco and directed by James Warwick - will close out its 2021 season with final performances October 28 through 31.

Rescheduled from Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, An Evening with Renée Elise Goldsberry will take the stage on May 22, 2022 at 7 p.m. as part of the Ameren Illinois Broadway in Peoria Series. A great date night show, this intimate production features favorites in the genres of Broadway, R&B, jazz and soul tunes.

The TheaterMakers Studio will present the fifth annual TheaterMakers Summit, on November 6 and 7, with a special bonus day on November 8. With Broadway reopening, the theme of this year’s event is “Places Please.” The 2021 TheaterMakers Summit will be held virtually for attendees and speakers.

After almost two years of darkness, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) will light up its Main Stage again for the holidays. The company’s long-awaited return to indoor, in-person performances will kick off with an all-new production of A Child’s Christmas in Wales, based on the classic story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell.

The Broadway productions of Is This A Room and Dana H. will conclude their limited engagement on Sunday, November 14 at Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre (149 W 45th Street, New York, NY). Dana H. will play its final performance at 2pm on Saturday November 13, 2021. Is This A Room will play its final performance at 3pm on Sunday November 14, 2021.

The TheaterMakers Summit will be held virtually again in 2021 for theater makers across the globe to attend, making this the largest virtual gathering of theater makers! Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that Ryan J. Haddad is the recipient of the 2021-22 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award.
