The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Joe's Bar on Weed Street in Chicago Tuesday, July 24 at 8:00 PM featuring Illinois native Brett Eldredge as well as Ross Copperman, Tom Douglas and Jordan Reynolds. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them in the raw as originally written. dick clark productions and NBC today announced nominees for the "2018 Billboard Music Awards," which will honor the year's most successful artists in 57 categories of music.  Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran lead the pack with 15 nominations each, followed by Post Malone with 13, Imagine Dragons with 11, Drake with 9 and Justin Bieber and Cardi B with 8. The "2018 Billboard Music Awards" will broadcast LIVE coast to coast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.

Eleven-year old rock n roll prodigy, Kjersti Long shocked the audience in her New York debut concert Friday, March 23rd at The Bitter End. Accompanied by Nashville's Born Crooked; Hunter Wolfe (guitar, vocals) and Are Wolfe (drums), Kjersti, pronounced 'care-stee' rocked a packed house at the iconic club.

According to Deadline, ABC's newest pilot is set to star Leighton Meester, Taran Killam and Brad Garrett. The show is called SINGLE PARENTS, and comes from Liz Meriwether (NEW GIRL creator), writer J.J. Philbin, and 20th Century FOX TV. Read more about it from Deadline here!

The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA), under the artistic direction of Ben Donenberg, returns to The Japanese Garden on the West Los Angeles VA Campus with a new production - 'Henry IV' - condensing two of Shakespeare's plays and staged by Tony Award winning director Daniel Sullivan.  The world-class acting company includes Tom Hanks as Falstaff and Rita Wilson; with additional cast members to be announced shortly, as confirmed.  Tom Ware is the executive producer.
