Multi-award-winning artist Mwalim DaPhunkee Professor will return to the Massachusetts stage this October with two performances of his acclaimed Blues Storytelling Theatre works: THUNDERCHILD and A PARTY at the CROSSROADS.

Mwalim DaPhunkee Professor will perform THUNDERCHILD at a one-night only event at Wellfleet Preservation Hall on Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

When Mwalim first performed 'A Party at the Crossroads' as a performance piece in 1996 at the Falmouth Public Library for Black History Month, with a subsequent production in Boston through New African Company, little did he know that the show would become a touring piece that took him around the country to theaters, venues and festivals.
