HBO has confirmed that award-winning composer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda will return for the third season of the fantasy drama.

This holiday season, The Joffrey Ballet celebrates the return of Tony Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon's magical production of The Nutcracker.

WEvery so often, a partnership in theatre can produce some fantastic results. One of those partnerships can be seen between Ankeny Community Theatre and playwright Tommy Lee Johnston. Last season they included two of his shows, 'Geezers' and 'Aura.' Over the season, Tommy Lee Johnston came to see both plays they produced. This led to something theatre companies and those involved dream about, the opportunity to produce a world premiere play. This last weekend Ankeny Community Theatre produced the World Premiere of Tommy Lee Johnston's new play 'Borrowed Beats.'

The noise season opens with virtuoso Latvian violinist Roberts Balanas performing a solo set in iconic gig venue OMEARA. Set up by Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons in 2016, OMEARA has hosted the likes of The Pretenders, The Maccabees, and Biffy Clyro, but noisenights will be the first classical show in the venue.

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT) teams up in a poignant theatre collaboration with beloved and celebrated Twin Cities icons, Nancy Nelson & Don Shelby, as they star in LOVE LETTERS at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres for a limited four performance engagement in November.

The Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG) will resume national touring for its 2022-2023 season, with ten confirmed nationwide stops from October 2021 to June 2022. The touring season centers on Mark Morris's BOLD new creation, The Look of Love.

After sold-out performances in 2021, Seattle's beloved Drunken Tenor, Robert McPherson, is back for a repeat of his hit comedy special, A Very Drunken Christmas Carol. The show will play four performances: December 9, 11, 16, & 18, 2022 at Tagney Jones Hall.
