On this day in 2012, Newsies seized the day on opening night at the Nederlander Theater!

#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken have reunited for Ruben & Clay's First Annual Christmas Carol Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion Show. The show officially opened last night, Tuesday December 11th, at the prestigious Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). BroadwayWorld was there to celebrate. On Wednesday, October 31 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, all available tickets for the 8:00pm performance of HAMILTON will be sold for $10.

Last night was the invited dress rehearsal for Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song, which begins previews tonight, October 9, on Broadway. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out the photos below!

Performers scheduled for February 19th are Stefanie Brown (Cruel Intentions), Billy Bustamante (Miss Saigon), Pomme Koch (The Band's Visit), Blaine Krauss (Kinky Boots), Amy Hillner Larsen (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I), Nick Sacks (Dear Evan Hansen), Travis J. Shuler (Cruel Intentions) and Matt Wood (SpongeBob SquarePants). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.
