Placer Repertory Theater has announced the cast for the Ghosts of Placer County mainstage world premiere, which performs the first two weekends of October in Roseville.

Like the little engine that could, Placer Repertory Theater continues to chug forward with  its events and programs, while they garner new awards and honors this summer. Gold  Country Media just announced Placer Rep as the winner of two Best of the Best awards  for Best Live Theatrical Group and Best New Business in Rocklin, California.

​Placer Repertory Theater’s ColLABoration LAB this June 22nd at 7 p.m. will bring “Prismatic Views” into focus by examining the myriad facets of self-identification and how they impact our works, roles, aspects, and mindsets.

Placer Repertory Theater’s ColLABoration LAB this May 25th at 7 p.m. explores the lens “Reperception,” through which presenters and attendees may explore the phenomena which occur when discovering new facets of familiar arts and culture.

History has never been so hilarious, as Placer Repertory Theater’s cast of professional actors bungle their way from one time in history to the next, as they elicit help from the audience to heal the RIFTS IN TIME. Held the fourth Sunday of each month, Placer Repertory Theater invites you to join the next Rifts in Time adventure on April 24 at 7 p.m. to experience this interactive and immersive theater that engages the audience through a combination of role-playing game elements, improvisation, and storytelling. Together, audiences and performers healed the rips in the time-space continuum around Jack the Ripper’s 1888 London and the 1692 Salem witch trials. But only the gamemaster knows where the adventurers and audience shall go next.

Through a theme of “Gazing Out,” this month Placer Repertory Theater’s ColLABoration LAB focuses on recognizing exciting differences and shared commonalities as new works and ideas are presented on Wednesday, February 23 at 7 p.m. both live in Roseville and via Zoom.

ColLABoration LAB, the arts & culture open-mic incubator and networking program for creatives returns for its third season at Placer Repertory Theater in 2022, accompanied by two new interactive and immersive programs, The Writers Workshop, and Interactive Adventure Theater, all offered the fourth week of each month in downtown Roseville, CA.

“From the Mind of Scott Charles” features four professional actors, Matt Heyer, Will Mueller, Katie Halls and Spencer T Gayden, who bring these new comedies to life as part of the development process of Scott Charles' plays for their world premieres in 2022.

A FOLK songwriting workshop is being offered by Placer Repertory Theater on Saturday & Sunday, July 17 & 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. with professional musician and instructor Jodi Serrano, through the generosity of Rockstar Music Academy at their facilities in Lincoln, CA. T

The theme for the June 24 LAB is “The Promise of Bounty,” a lens which focuses on creative growth, planning, toil and anticipation of bringing an artistic work to fruition.  This month’s hosts are Placer Rep company members Kevin Foster, Outreach Director, and Spencer T Gayden, the new Digital & Social Media Director.
