Solomon Bassoff of Faducci will headline at Placer Rep's May 28 Collaboration LAB, joined by musicians, writers, comedians, designers and open stage performers and presenters, held in the event room at Cool River Pizza & Taphouse in Rocklin.

Straight from the Spring Intersession, scoring 90-100% with students and parents on all evaluation areas, Placer Repertory Theater and the Colfax Elementary School District are currently offering registration for the Placer Rep VAPA Academy Summer Program, which runs May 30 through June 30 in Colfax, California.

Due in no small part to the scholastic vision and creativity of Superintendent Andrew Giannini and the Colfax Elementary School District, Placer Rep is excited to announce the establishment of the Placer Repertory Theater VAPA Academy of Colfax, a pilot program developed for grades K-8. 

Enjoy a taphouse beer or glass of wine along with the performances and presentations of area creatives at Collaboration LAB's new venue for March through October 2023 at the Cool River Pizza & Taphouse event room.

In honor of Black History and National Awareness month, Collaboration LAB will feature the neo-expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, what inspired his art and the continuing relevance of his work, as we also share works from local creatives on February 26 at Tamraloo Studios in Lincoln, CA. Also included will be a drawing for $100 worth of prizes from local businesses of those who register via Eventbrite.com and attend Collaboration LAB. 

The Divine Spark is the theme explored at Placer Repertory Theater’s first Collaboration LAB of 2023 on January 29 in the Tamraloo Studio E black box in Lincoln, CA.

In keeping with the generous spirit of the season, local businesses are stepping up to support Placer Repertory Theater by donating funds to the Annual Winter Fundraiser for Season 2023, or donating prizes for Placer Rep’s Annual Holiday Party / variety show.

It is said a home is built with love and dreams and never has that phrase been truer, as Placer Repertory Theater’s rise in popularity and programming now propels Placer Rep to seek a home facility for Season 2023 and beyond.

Placer Repertory Theater has announced the cast for the Ghosts of Placer County mainstage world premiere, which performs the first two weekends of October in Roseville.

​Placer Repertory Theater’s ColLABoration LAB this June 22nd at 7 p.m. will bring “Prismatic Views” into focus by examining the myriad facets of self-identification and how they impact our works, roles, aspects, and mindsets.

Placer Repertory Theater’s ColLABoration LAB this May 25th at 7 p.m. explores the lens “Reperception,” through which presenters and attendees may explore the phenomena which occur when discovering new facets of familiar arts and culture.

History has never been so hilarious, as Placer Repertory Theater’s cast of professional actors bungle their way from one time in history to the next, as they elicit help from the audience to heal the RIFTS IN TIME. Held the fourth Sunday of each month, Placer Repertory Theater invites you to join the next Rifts in Time adventure on April 24 at 7 p.m. to experience this interactive and immersive theater that engages the audience through a combination of role-playing game elements, improvisation, and storytelling. Together, audiences and performers healed the rips in the time-space continuum around Jack the Ripper’s 1888 London and the 1692 Salem witch trials. But only the gamemaster knows where the adventurers and audience shall go next.

Through a theme of “Gazing Out,” this month Placer Repertory Theater’s ColLABoration LAB focuses on recognizing exciting differences and shared commonalities as new works and ideas are presented on Wednesday, February 23 at 7 p.m. both live in Roseville and via Zoom.

ColLABoration LAB, the arts & culture open-mic incubator and networking program for creatives returns for its third season at Placer Repertory Theater in 2022, accompanied by two new interactive and immersive programs, The Writers Workshop, and Interactive Adventure Theater, all offered the fourth week of each month in downtown Roseville, CA.
