Michael Feinstein, Molly Pope, John Early and Jonah Verdon will join the previously announced headliners Melissa Errico, Liz Callaway, The Skivvies, Michael McElroy, Lauren Worsham, Cyrille Aimee, Rachel  York, Adam Kantor, Randy Graff, Kim David Smith, Danielle Grabianowski, Julie Hill, Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson to headline the fifth annual "Night Of A Thousand Judys" - presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - on Monday, June 1. The Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan). Called "a rambunctious, uproarious, unpredictable all-star concert" by The Wall Street Journal, "Night Of A Thousand Judys" will honor the iconic Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her legendary career as movie star, recording artist and stage performer. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM.

Some of Broadway's brightest were on hand Saturday in the tiny bedroom community of Salem, CT for an afternoon concert that officially launched the inaugural season of the Bingham Camp Theatre Retreat (BCTR), a resident program aimed at developing new works. The event kicked off a summer of preparation for the innovative program's first retreat which will take place September 25th through October 5th, 2015.

Jon Viktor Corpuz, who currently plays the role of Prince Chulalongkorn in Lincoln Center Theater's Broadway revival of THE KING AND I, is set to make his 54 Below solo debut, titled 'Confessions of a Drama King,' on Monday, June 15, at 7 p.m. Doors open shortly after 5 p.m.

On Monday, May 25th the Theater People Podcast welcomes Tony-nominated composer Jeanine Tesori. In the interview, she talks of the five-year journey that she took alongside lyricist and book writer Lisa Kron adapting Alison Bechdel's celebrated graphic memior. After a ground breaking Off-Broadway run, the musical is now Tony-nominated and playing at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theater. Tesori and Kron have been nominated together for this year's Best Original Score award; should they win, the pair would become the first all-female writing team in Tony history to take home that the prize.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will present a fun evening event today, May 22, celebrating Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month.The first act will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Hall, followed by performances in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that WICKED's Katie Rose Clarke has joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway production of Allegiance, starring Geroge Takei, Lea Salonga, and Telly Leung. Clarke will take on the role of 'Hannah.'

Cy Coleman and Ira Gasman's musical The Life explores the human flotsam and jetsam of Times Square in the 1980s--prostitutes, pimps, dealers, runaways, the seedy, lost and desperate. And, of course, this being a musical, some have hearts of gold. The Life began Off-Broadway in 1990 at the Westbeth Theater and moved to Broadway in 1997, garnering three Drama Desk Awards and Tony Awards for Lillias White and Chuck Cooper. On Sunday evening (5/17), 54 Below presented a concert version of The Life as part of its 54 Below Sings series. The cast sunk its teeth into this score with gusto offering 15 songs that reminded us of the show's pith and sass. Intermittent narrative sketched the storyline. Few of those onstage were acting, but everyone sang up a storm.

UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts Department of Drama is holding an open call audition for male dancers/singers of Asian/American or mixed race Asian descent to audition for the one remaining spot in the upcoming new Broadway musical Allegiance.

HT Musical Theatre, an award-winning Teen Theatre based out of High Tech High School in Hudson County, NJ, will embark on celebrating their 15th anniversary with the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of 'A CHORUS LINE'. Students have been preparing for their performances this weekend, May 14-17, in NJ, then will embark at another run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August of 2015 at THE SPACE Theatre in Edinburgh.

SPARKLE & CIRCULATE with JUSTIN SAYRE - the official monthly podcast of the International Order of Sodomites - has posted the seventh episode, which features an in-depth conversation with Carl Siciliano, founder of the Ali Forney Center, which provides shelter and services for homeless LGBT youth. Carl explains how the center was formed, who Ali Forney was and the challenges they face with fundraising. The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater on Sunday, May 17 at 9:30 PM to conclude the Spring 2015 Season. The Meeting* has been called 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice. The recording of TOKIO CONFIDENTIAL, a new musical with words and music by Eric Schorr that had its Off-Broadway world premiere in 2012, will be released by Broadway Records and is now available for pre-order on the Broadway Records website at www.broadwayrecords.com/cds/tokio-confidential and select retailers.
