The Theater People Podcast Welcome Tony-Winner Lena Hall

On Monday, October 26, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony winner Lena Hall. Hall, who won her Tony Award for her gender bending performance as Yitzhak in the 2014 Broadway production of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, shares stories of her ten-plus career as a working actor and musician in New York City.

Hall made her Broadway debut in 1999 in CATS. Her other Broadway credits include 42ND STREET, DRACULA THE MUSICAL, and TARZAN. In 2013, Tony winning director / choreographer Jerry Mitchell tapped her to originate the role of Nicola in KINKY BOOTS. The production would go on to win the Tony Award for Best New Musical. Hall left KINKY BOOTS to star alongside mega star Neil Patrick Harris in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. Both Hall and Harris took home Tony Awards for their work, and the show won the top prize for best revival of a musical.
