August 26 marks Women's Equality Day and 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passing of the 19th amendment! We're keeping the empowerment going with our reader's Broadway role models.

Today we rewind to 2012, for opening night of Bring It On. The show opened on August 1 at the St. James Theatre, where it played for 171 performances. 

MTCA (Musical Theatre Competitions of America)and Musical Theatre Festivals Educational Foundation (MTFEF)announced Taylor Louderman (Mean Girls, Bring it On, Kinky Boots) will take the stage at their annual festival slated for March 26-28, 2021.
