Flayed, a 2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival (HFF) favorite and multiple award-winner, written and performed by Josiah Blount and directed by David Bridel, will play one performance only in SoloFest 2024, on Thursday, February 1, at 8pm, at The Whitefire Theatre.

The Angel Next Door is a glittering, effervescent hit romantic comedy by Paul Slade Smith at the historic Laguna Playhouse. It’s an elegant, sweet-dry glass of champagne, bubbling over with non-stop laughs, merriment, glamor, and high-spirited hijinks. It’s hard to think of more fun you could have at the theatre right now, or really, more fun anywhere.

THE ANGEL NEXT DOOR, the world premiere comedy now playing at North Coast Repertory Theatre through October 8th is like an angel food cake; light, fluffy, and leaves you feeling like you had a sweet treat at the end.

Capturing the sheer joy, sophistication, and wit of 1940s screwball comedies, playwright Paul Slade Smith (The Outsider; Unnecessary Farce) has brilliantly adapted Ferenc Molnár's classic farce, Play at the Castle. THE ANGEL NEXT DOOR is making its world premiere debut at North Coast Repertory Theatre, and will transfer to Laguna Playhouse.

Directed by David Bridel, the performance schedule is Friday 6/2 at 8pm; Friday 6/9 at 5pm; Saturday 6/10 at 4pm; Thursday 6/15 at 10pm, Saturday 6/17 at 1pm, Sunday 6/18 at 5:30pm, and Saturday 6/24 at 10pm. Running time is 75 minutes.

With the performance on Friday, March 31 sold out, Odyssey Theatre Ensemble's Music at the Odyssey series has added a second evening of music from Rodgers and Hammerstein and Cole Porter on Friday, April 28.

The critically acclaimed production of Cock by Mike Bartlett now at the Davidson/Valentini Theatre is set to play its final six performances. Under the direction of Taubert Nadalini, the cast features Annika Chavez, Dennis Delsing, Sean Hemeon, and Marly Phillips.

The line-up spans 88 performances, including world premieres, an award-winning comedy, and a radically reimagined musical-each presented in partnership with local theatre companies.
