Relationships can be murder! In the height of the roaring twenties, Richard Loeb is obsessed with crime. Nathan Leopold is obsessed with Richard. Buzzed on adrenaline, they leave a trail of arson, theft, and vandalism in their wake before they conspire to commit the ultimate crime: a perfect murder.
The musical play follows Bronx-born Christine Jorgensen as she returns from Denmark following her headline-grabbing transformation from an ex-GI into a blonde beauty with the help of a down-on-his-luck nightclub entertainer determined to turn the new “her” into a cabaret chanteuse – despite her lack of experience and overwhelming stage fright.

Jermyn Street Theatre has announced the cast of the opening production of its Outsiders Season, Stephen Dolginoff's Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story.
Today, Jermyn Street Theatre announces its Spring 2022 season. The Outsiders Season, which runs from mid-January to early July, features a World premiere by one of the UK's most respected playwrights, two European premieres, one London premiere and an eagerly awaited transfer of a critically praised musical thriller.
A new production of THRILL ME: The Leopold & Loeb Story (book, music, and lyrics by Stephen Dolginoff) takes place this weekend at the NuBox theatre in Hell's Kitchen from September 30th to October 3rd.
With special permission from Mr, Dolginoff, MWP were able to film a one-night only, filmed production, of this comedic musical, celebrating that momentous occasion where radio became a realistic event when Orson Welles and The Mercury Theatre presented the infamous radio broadcast of H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds.

The crimes perpetrated by Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb in 1920s-Chicago have gone on to become interwoven in popular culture and have generated a multitude of films, plays, and fiction. They were barely 20 years old when they ensnared and murdered 14-year-old Bobby for no other gain but the thrill they'd get from killing a human being. They were sentenced for life plus 99 years but while the latter was attacked and killed in prison, Leopold was granted parole and released in 1958 - 33 years after being convicted.
After Sunset Boulevard last summer and before My Fair Lady next season, both at Karreveld Castle, Brussels is staying alive through the winter with the sound of musicals, this time with a much meatier choice by Tobiarts Productions, the Pulitzer Prize and triple Tony Awards winner Next to Normal.
