New York Classical Theatre has released production photography for their reimagined production of Shakespeare’s romantic adventure Cymbeline, directed by Stephen Burdman. The production is presented free of charge at public parks in Manhattan and Brooklyn through July 10, 2022. Check out photos below!

High School Musical the Musical the Series star and Broadway veteran Kate Reinders will return to the stage on Monday, June 27 to host the 2022 Jimmy Awards. 92 student nominees will perform for a chance to win the Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress.

The Lucky Star, produced by Douglas Denoff & Beth Goldsmith, The Directors Company, and 59E59 Theaters will conclude its limited engagement on Sunday, June 12 as originally planned. The production began previews on April 26, 2022, and opened May 5, 2022 in Theatre A. 

New York Classical Theatre has announced casting for Shakespeare’s romantic adventure Cymbeline, directed by Stephen Burdman. The production will be presented from June 14 to July 10, 2022 at public parks in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

59E59 Theaters is presenting New Golden Age by Karen Hartman, part of the inaugural VOLT Festival at 59E59. Presented by Primary Stages and directed by Jade King Carroll (Proof of Love), New Golden Age opened May 11 for a run through June 9, 2022.

On March 11th 2020 Mint Theater Company completed casting for their next production, the long delayed American premiere of Chains by Elizabeth Baker, scheduled to open that May.  

Voyage Theater Company announced today it will present the world premiere production of DON’T LOOK BACK, a new play written by Adam Kraar and directed by VTC’s Founding Artistic Director, Wayne Maugans.

Alexandra Silber is often known for her nuanced and powerful portrayals of strong Jewish women, including Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof, Halina in Indecent and more. Silber is back on stage now in the dual roles of Dola/Vita in Karen Hartman's The Lucky Star, being presented as part of the inaugural VOLT Festival at 59E59.

We attended a poignant production of The Lucky Star produced by The Directors Company, that featured outstanding direction by Noah Himmelstein, and an excellent cast.

Studio For Performing Arts LA recently announced the return of their MENASA Diversity Showcase Virtual Open Call to be held online this month.
