Y'all ready for some yarns? Hosted by Christine Stoddard, Quail Bell Productions presents a night of Southern storytellers and comedians spilling and ragging on their experiences in New York City-and more! 'It's Fall, Y'all: Funny Stories & Standup From Southerners in NYC' will take place at the Greenwich Village Comedy Club on November 14th at 7 p.m.

Playwright Carolene Joy Cabrera King’s TOO MUCH SKIN will debut as part of SheLA’s annual Summer Theatre Festival July 15, 2022, at the Zephyr Theater.  Carolene depicts the story of Filipino siblings navigating assimilation and battling stereotypes via the world of cosplay and videos. Carolene took some time from her rehearsals to answer a few of my SKIN queries.

A new image of Ryan Gosling in the highly-anticipated live action Barbie film has been released.  Last month, a first look at Margot Robbie as the title character was also revealed. Barbie is now being filmed in London. The film also stars America Ferreria, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Haru Nef, Michael Cera, Will Ferrell, and more.

Actor Simu Liu hosts the TIME100 Gala and one-hour special, which features musical performances by Mary J. Blige and Miranda Lambert, and appearances by members of the iconic list of the most influential people in the world including Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Quinta Brunson and others. Today, TIME has announced the 2022 TIME100, an annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Among those on this year's list are a number of stars from the world of theatre.

Today Apple TV+ announced that the fifth season of the Emmy Award-winning “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” will premiere globally on Friday, May 27. The stars sharing a car, singing along to their personal playlists, and embarking on adventures this season include Simu Liu & Jessica Henwick;  “White Lotus” costars Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario & Sydney Sweeney; Anitta & Saweetie; Zooey Deschanel & Jonathan Scott, who first met on “Carpool Karaoke;” CM Punk, Britt Baker, Christian Cage, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Will Hobbs and Ruby Soho of All Elite Wrestling; and Marc, Heidi, Dixie and Charli D’Amelio. Additional episodes will debut later this year.

Laugh lovers can rejoice with the first in-person JUNO Comedy event since 2019.

The 94th Oscars on ABC attracted an average audience of 16.6 million Total Viewers and delivered a 3.8/28 among Adults 18-49. Hosted by Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer, the 94th Oscars were held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and were televised live on ABC.
