Ledfoot aka Tim Scott McConnell is a 12-string guitarist who plays with fitted heavy strings, a brass slide, steel fingerpicks, and a stompbox. He has been touring and releasing music since the late 1970s.

The Columbus Symphony will perform a one-night-only, in-person Valentine’s Concert at the Palace Theatre on Saturday, February 13. Conducted by CSO Principal Pops Conductor Stuart Chafetz, this intimate concert will feature a collection of the world’s most romantic pop songs performed by a full, socially distanced orchestra.

This year, the owners of The Montalbán, Ricardo's son in law and President of The Montalbán Company, LLC, Gilbert Smith, and daughter Anita, have plans to expand the theatre's musical performances, beginning with The Company Men on February 21 and 22; and The Soul of Broadway Starring Terron Brooks on February 28 and 29.

Long ago but not far away at all, there were many TV Variety Shows, Award Ceremonies, Music Centers and Theatre abounding with live Musical Performances, all with massive budgets; and dancers in this town, Los Angeles, made a darn good living, albeit having to work their asses off to do so, but it was a good and plentiful, fulfilling life. Besides myself, there was a plethora of working, professional dancers who ended up bonding together pretty easily, as a dancer's life is one of a nomad, or gypsy, going from one job to another, but in doing so, finding kindred spirits and lifelong connections. Jay Johnson, husband of one of these dancers and artistically gifted himself, was part of the artistic community, as was his wife, Sandi, and, typical with dancers, became close friends and comrades with other dancers, choreographers, and like-minded performers. As Jay was earning international fame as a ventriloquist, actor and comedian, and starring on the hit TV Series 'Soap,' us dancers were slaving away, happy to be able to make a living doing what we loved. Jay is best known for his role on ' Soap' as Chuck Campbell, a ventriloquist who believed his puppet Bob was real and demanded everyone treat Bob as human.

Country music veteran Deborah Allen was surprised with a special presentation by T.G. Sheppard, Kelly Lang and WSM's Devon O'Day at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley Wednesday night during the 6th annual Country For A Cause, benefiting Monroe Carell Jr's Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. A proclamation from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, celebrating Deborah's 40 years in country music, was tearfully and happily received. The honor acknowledges not only her contributions as a singer, but also as a celebrated, successful songwriter having been awarded seven BMI One Million Air-Play Awards for her hit songwriting repertoire and one BMI Two Million Air-Play Award for her smash hit “Baby I Lied.”

Grammy-nominee Ron Hawking will headline at Drury Lane Theatre's intimate Cabaret Room. His newest production Ron Hawking: The Song is You will run for three performances: Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 at 7:30pm and Sunday, August 11 at 6:30pm.

April is Jazz Appreciation Month, and Ella Fitzgerald embodied this genre. International vocalist Michelle Johnson will pay tribute to Ella, known as the First Lady of Song, Queen of Jazz, and Lady Ella when Michelle Johnson Presents A Tribute To Ella Fitzgerald at the Myron's Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center on April 19.

Skylight Theatre Company (Producing Artistic Director, Gary Grossman and Co-Artistic Director Tony Abatemarco) announced today the world premiere of BRONCO BILLY - THE MUSICAL, It marks the organization's first world premiere musical production. The new musical, based on the Warner Bros. film Bronco Billy, features a book by Dennis Hackin, lyrics and music by Chip Rosenbloom and John Torres, with additional lyrics by Michele Brourman. Hunter Bird will direct. Preview performances begin on May 10, with the official press opening on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts announces A Star is Born: The Concert, on Saturday, April 13 at 8 pm. The show features a number of Broadway' finest singers, from shows such as Cats, Crazy for You, Aida, and more. Bay Street audiences will remember director/performer Scott Coulter from Music Monday's Stephen Schwartz & Friends and the 8-Track Memories concert.

The series returns to Los Angeles for another in-depth discussion with prominent artists, following its May conversation with the creative team of Soft Power at CTG.
