World Premiere of STUFF to be Presented by Astoria Performing Arts Center

Astoria Performing Arts Center will present the world premiere of Stuff, a radio play by Mrinalini Kamath. Inspired by the 2015 New York Times article 'The Lonely Death of George Bell,' Stuff tells the story of lives that intersect when a man dies alone in his cluttered apartment. Stuff is about living alone in modern times.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre Presents Readings of RIPCORD and SHOOTING STAR

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is presenting two staged readings in March: Ripcord by David Lindsay-Abaire on March 17 and Shooting Star by Steven Dietz on March 31. Both will debut at 7:30 pm and be available for the next 24 hours via a link.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre Presents KINDRED SPIRITS: VALENTINE'S DAY CABARET

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is presenting a Valentine’s Day Cabaret, Kindred Spirits, on Thursday, February 11 at 7:30 pm on Zoom. This collection of songs about love in all its variety is a pairing of musical performance and video taken by the singers and edited by director Laura Ekstrand. The performance will be followed by an online talkback with the artists.

2020 AUDELCO Nominations Announced

The 48th Annual Vivian Robinson AUDELCO Awards will occur virtually on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 7pm and will be hosted by Roger Guenveur Smith, the AUDELCO award winning actor, best known for his 'The Huey P. Newton Story' and as Smiley in Spike Lee's 'Do the Right Thing'!
