Theatre Under The Stars will return to the Miller Outdoor Theatre stage for the first time since 2019 with a concert in July. The show, dubbed TUTS: A Celebration of Houston Stories and Songs is directed by Mitchell Greco, and will run July 11 – 15 features a cast of beloved Houston actors singing many songs from the shows TUTS has performed over the last 55 years.

The residents of Inspīr Carnegie Hill, a luxury senior living community operated by Maplewood Senior Living, were in for a special treat this June as NYC drag queens Evita Loca and Sutton Lee Seymour brought Broadway right to their home, performing their signature ‘Drag Roulette’ in an unforgettable Pride month concert. Chelsea Table + Stage will present What If? Musical Theatre Characters Switch Songs for a Night on July 9th, 2023. After two clever editions in November and December of 2022, What If? is thrilled to return to NYC with a collection of new mashups; being sung by both Broadway and up-and-coming stars.

TheatreWorks New Milford will open the coming-of-age Stephen Schwartz musical PIPPIN on Friday July 14th.  PIPPIN is directed by Francis A Daley with musical director Joy Giuseffi of Patterson, N.Y. and choreographers are Sandra Hernandez of New Milford and Adam Battelstein of Kent, CT.

This musical originally began as a submission to the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland by two Cambridge University students, Toby Marlow & Lucy Moss. Since then, the show made its way to London’s West End, where it earned five 2019 Laurence Olivier Award nominations (including Best New Musical).
