The stage at Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is set to rock with BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY Buddy Holly rose to fame in 1956 and set the music world on fire, forever changing the face and sound of rock 'n' roll before his tragic end in 1959 – the day the music died. 

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS announced that composer, songwriter, and playwright Joe Iconis will welcome a star-studded list of guest performers for his Wednesday, June 22 show at The Bourbon Room in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of Album.

The Town Hall presented Broadway By The Year: The New Wave on Monday, March 21 at 8pm. Created, written, hosted and directed by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, the event launched Broadway By The Year's 21st landmark season at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street).

Cabaret performers live for those tunes that tap into their truest essence and express exactly who they are as an entertainer. That is the premise and the purpose of MUSE MATCH, a concert of new works benefiting The Musical Theatre Factory. The founder of the event, Bill Coyne described it as a “musical theatre blind date.” Cabaret artists are matched up with a composer or composing team. They answer a series of in-depth questions about what believe in and what’s important to them as people, and voila! a custom-made song.

The Argyle Theatre is presenting the World Premiere of PUNK ROCK GIRL with book and arrangements by Tony-nominated Long Island Composer Joe Iconis (Broadway’s Be More Chill), arrangements and orchestrations by Rob Rokicki (Broadway’s The Lightning Thief),  directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner Worldwide Associate for Book Of Mormon).

Long Island's largest year-round professional theatrical venue, The Argyle Theatre (Mark and Dylan Perlman, Executive Producers & Managing Partners; Evan Pappas, Artistic Director), presents the World Premiere of PUNK ROCK GIRL with book and arrangements by Tony-nominated Long Island Composer Joe Iconis (Broadway's Be More Chill), arrangements and orchestrations by Rob Rokicki (Broadway's The Lightning Thief), directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner (Worldwide Associate for Book Of Mormon), musical direction by Jennifer Peacock, and in partnership with Lively McCabe Entertainment. With more than two dozen classic Cash hits, including “I Walk the Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” and “Cry Cry Cry,” a multi-talented cast of actor-musicians creates a unique portrait about an American legend in this rollicking and heartfelt stage production.

This past weekend, Two River Theater kicked off their summer season with the brand-new Plaza Players Series featuring Tony-Nominated writer and composer Joe Iconis (Be More Chill, Love in Hate Nation), Lauren Marcus (Be More Chill, Love in Hate Nation) and band members Seth Eliser (ONCE), Eric William Morris (Be More Chill, The Ballad of Little Jo, Songbird), and Nygel D. Robinson (Beau: The Musical).
