The Walt Disney Company's highly anticipated Investor Day provided an extensive overview of Disney's comprehensive direct-to-consumer strategy, and included presentations on Hulu, Hotstar, ESPN+ and the upcoming Disney+ service, which will launch in the U.S. market on November 12, 2019, at $6.99 a month. The service will offer fans of all ages a new way to experience the unparalleled content from the company's iconic entertainment brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, and will be available on connected TV and mobile devices.

Deadline reports that Haley Bennett, Jason Clarke and Riley Keough have joined The Devil All the Time, an Antonio Campos-directed drama at Netflix. Tom Holland, Mia Wasakowska, Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Eliza Scanlen and Sebastian Stan have been previously announced as members of the cast.

ABC presents a two-hour television special that features an emotional interview with figure skater Tonya Harding, who opens up about her life now, her childhood and her past, discussing the attack on figure skater Nancy Kerrigan that dominated headlines for weeks and the alleged tumultuous relationships she had with both her mother, LaVona “Sandy” Golden, and her now ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly. The special features rarely seen video of Harding as a child and interviews with television news anchor Connie Chung whose interview with Harding during the 1994 Olympics was cut short when she walked out; Christine Brennan, USA Today sports columnist and ABC commentator; Dody Teachman, Harding's former and current coach; Norman Frink, the former district attorney who prosecuted Harding and Gillooly; Matt Harkins and Viviana Olen, curators of THNK1994, the Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan museum; Sandra Luckow, director of “Hard Edges,” the 1986 documentary on Harding; People magazine's Kate Coyne; sports broadcaster Ann Schatz; and “I, Tonya” Golden Globe®-nominated actors Margot Robbie who plays Harding and Allison Janney as Golden, as well as Sebastian Stan as Gillooly. “Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story” airs Saturday, June 16 (9:00–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Actor Bosco Hogan Appointed To The Board Of The Abbey Theatre

At a meeting of the Abbey Theatre's Board of Directors on 5 June 2018, actor Bosco Hogan was appointed to the Board of the Abbey Theatre for a term of three years. Bosco was appointed to the Board on a recommendation from the Selection Committee [Dr. Frances Ruane (Chair of the Abbey Theatre), Sheila Pratschke (Chair of the Arts Council) and Prof. Chris Morash (Vice-Provost of Trinity College Dublin)] and he will take up his appointment later this month.
