Youth Theater has been home to countless New York City children who looked to TADA! to build their self-confidence and enhance their creativity, while developing their skills in leadership, communication, responsibility, collaboration, and problem-solving. Now TADA! Youth Theater is facing challenging times.

Broadway Rewind: HAIR Lets the Sun Shine In Again in 2009!

In 2009, four decades after it originally rocked the world, Hair returned under the direction of Diane Paulus. The production, which started at the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park the previous summer, opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theater on March 31, 2009. The cast included some of Broadway's best, including Cassie Levy, Will Swenson, Sasha Allen, Allison Case, Kacie Sheik, Bryce Ryness, Jay Armstrong Johnson and future Tony winner, Gavin Creel.

Broadway ladies united earlier this month for the world premiere of Award-winning composer Carmel Dean's Well-Behaved Women. The cast included: LaChanze, Liz Callaway, Natascia Diaz, Melissa Rose Hirsh, Bonnie Milligan, Katie Thompson, Kuhoo Verma, Sasha Allen, Andréa Burns, Hannah Elless and Barbara Walsh. TADA! Youth Theater Presents THE DANGEROUS CHRISTMAS OF RED RIDING HOOD

The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood is a hilarious take on the Red Riding Hood story told from the wolf's point of view, with Music by Jule Styne, Lyrics by Bob Merrill and Book by Robert Emmett. TADA! was the first company to perform this musical on stage.

TADA! Youth Theater Presents THE DANGEROUS CHRISTMAS OF RED RIDING HOOD

The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood was written in the 1960s, and the young actors from TADA! Youth Theater will take to the stage post-performances on November 30th and December 6th to focus on why it is important to do this show now, how it relates to modern culture, and what we can learn by hearing the Wolf's side of the story in this classic tale. Director Janine Nina Trevens and Choreographer Joanna Garcia will also participate in the Q&A.

The Public Theater Announces Final Extension of FOR COLORED GIRLS Through Dec 15

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced a fourth and final extension of the revival of for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf, written by legendary playwright/poet Ntozake Shange. Directed by Obie Award winner Leah C. Gardiner with choreography by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown, for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf began performances on Tuesday, October 8 in The Public's Martinson Hall and officially opened on Tuesday, October 22. for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, November 17, and was extended four times to now run through Sunday, December 15.

Broadway's Future Songbook Series Presents MANDELA

Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow - continues its 2019-20 season on Monday, November 25th in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street. Produced and Hosted by John Znidarsic, the evening spotlights the new musical - MANDELA. Show time is 6PM and ADMISSION IS FREE.

Sasha Allen and Ana Villafañe to Join Performance Line-Up for Manhattan Theatre Club's 2019 Fall Benefit

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that Sasha Allen and Ana Villafañe will perform at the Manhattan Theatre Club 2019 Fall Benefit, joining previously announced performers Olivier nominee Sierra Boggess, Tony nominee Melissa Errico, Tony nominee Norm Lewis, Tony nominee Patrick Page and Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck.

Lineup Announced For First Annual Broadway Scares

St. Andrews Theater announces Broadway Scares on Halloween night, in benefit of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, at a secret location on the waterfront in Astoria will feature special guests Lillias White, Sasha Allen, Ari Groover and Jaime Cepero.
