Broadway has found its next Evan Hansen! Producer Stacey Mindich just announced today that recording artist and actor Jordan Fisher will return to Broadway, joining the cast of the Tony Award- winning musical Dear Evan Hansen, playing the title role for a limited 16-week engagement, beginning Tuesday, January 28. Fisher succeeds Andrew Barth Feldman, who plays his final performance on Sunday, January 26.

Today, Quibi announced it has greenlit 'FLOORED', a comedic dance competition series hosted by Liza Koshy, featuring two opposing teams as they attempt to perform dance routines on a moving dance floor while also dodging surprise obstacles.

Netflix has released the first trailer for Tall Girl. The film follows Jodi, the tallest girl in her high school, who has always felt uncomfortable in her own skin. Cartel Entertainment, a full-service management and production company, has optioned the rights to Marina Gessner's bestselling young adult novel “The Distance From Me to You” with multi-album recording artist and actress Sabrina Carpenter (Short History of the Long Road, Netflix's Tall Girl, The Hate U Give) attached to produce and star.  The upcoming film project will be executive produced by Stan Spry, Jeff Holland and Drew Brown for Cartel Entertainment alongside Danielle Fishel (Boy Meets World).

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.  

Hollywood Records pop artist Sabrina Carpenter has teamed up with Amazon and Universal Music Germany's Marketing Labs to create “Sabrina Carpenter Extended,” a first-of-its-kind Alexa skill to date. Through a fully immersive voice experience, Carpenter will take fans on a deep dive into the making of her album Singular: Act I.

After conducting an extensive worldwide casting call, Netflix announced today that actor, dancer, and model Ava Michelle will play the lead role in its upcoming live action comedy Tall Girl, making her feature film debut. The film captures the tone of the classic John Hughes movies, while exploring the nuanced and delicate relationships that make high school challenging, frustrating, memorable, and uplifting. Ava Michelle, who is 6 feet and 1 inch tall, will play Jodi, a 16 year old who must embrace what makes her different and be proud to stand out, not fit in.

Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP) expands across America this holiday season, including a multi-year deal at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium beginning with their newest production - THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ. It will be directed by Bonnie Lythgoe and choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo (NappyTabs), with book by Kris Lythgoe and Michael Orland (American Idol) serving as musical arranger and supervisor. Casting is by executive producer Becky Lythgoe. This will be the seventh holiday season of Lythgoe Family Panto in Pasadena, and their second in this larger venue.

Season two of 'Milo Murphy's Law,' the Emmy® Award-nominated animated series starring legendary satirist Al Yankovic (professionally known as 'Weird Al') as the voice of Milo Murphy, debuts with a one-hour 'Phineas and Ferb' crossover special SATURDAY, JAN. 5 (7:00–8:00 a.m. EST/PST), on both Disney Channel and Disney XD. The special, titled 'The Phineas and Ferb Effect,' will also be available that same day on DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD. Both series hail from acclaimed animation producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh, who will reprise their 'Phineas and Ferb' roles as Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, in addition to voicing time travelers from the future, Vinnie Dakota and Balthazar Cavendish, in 'Milo Murphy's Law.'

Singer and actor Jet Jurgensmeyer has released his new song and video “Real World,” following the exclusive premiere with Tiger Beat. The video was shot in various locations around Los Angeles, CA including the Hollywood Bowl and was directed by The Riker Brothers. “Real World” was co-written by pop star Sabrina Carpenter alongside Josiah Rosen, Sandy Chila and Abram Dean.
