Season two of 'Milo Murphy's Law,' the Emmy® Award-nominated animated series starring legendary satirist Al Yankovic (professionally known as 'Weird Al') as the voice of Milo Murphy, debuts with a one-hour 'Phineas and Ferb' crossover special SATURDAY, JAN. 5 (7:00–8:00 a.m. EST/PST), on both Disney Channel and Disney XD. The special, titled 'The Phineas and Ferb Effect,' will also be available that same day on DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD. Both series hail from acclaimed animation producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh, who will reprise their 'Phineas and Ferb' roles as Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, in addition to voicing time travelers from the future, Vinnie Dakota and Balthazar Cavendish, in 'Milo Murphy's Law.'
Singer and actor Jet Jurgensmeyer has released his new song and video “Real World,” following the exclusive premiere with Tiger Beat. E! announced today the list of presenters set to take the stage to hand out the only awards voted on by the people at “The E! People's Choice Awards” on Sunday, November 11. The event, which will feature unique fan experiences and a variety of surprises throughout the show, will broadcast live across the cable networks of NBCUniversal, including Bravo, E!, SYFY, Universo, and USA Network, and will air in 161 countries.
The opening night celebration of THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ on December 14 will also serve as a benefit for the GiveKidsPanto program. Lythgoe Family Panto created GiveKidsPanto, a non-profit educational program, serving over 6,000 Title 1 students across America annually. For many of these students, this is their first opportunity to see live theater. GiveKidsPanto raises funds, which allows each LFP production across the country to add a student matinee to their performance schedule. The funds raised through GiveKidsPanto go to facilitate the student's bus transportation to and from the theater as well as buy the tickets to the performances. Last year at the Pasadena Civic alone, over 2,000 students from the Pasadena and Greater Los Angeles area schools were brought in to see a performance of Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Rose. It will premiere in limited release on October 5th, expand on October 12th, and go wide on its original release date of October 19th. Last night, the first full trailer for upcoming movie The Hate U Give dropped during the BET Awards. Less than 12 hours later, the trailer already has over 1.1 million views on YouTube. Fitting for what is hyped to be one of the most important movies of the year, especially considering the novel has spent the last 68 weeks on the New York Times Best Sellers List since it debuted last February--and many of those weeks have been spent at #1, where it is residing once more this week. Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP) expands across America this holiday season, including a multi-year deal at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium beginning with their newest production - THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ. It will be directed by Bonnie Lythgoe and choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo (NappyTabs), with book by Kris Lythgoe and Michael Orland (American Idol) serving as musical arranger and supervisor. Casting is by executive producer Becky Lythgoe. This will be the seventh holiday season of Lythgoe Family Panto in Pasadena, and their second in this larger venue.
