Saturday Night Live has announced that Ariana DeBose will serve as the host of the January 15 episode. DeBose will be joined by Bleachers as a musical guest.

DeBose will be joined by Roddy Ricch as musical guest. The announcement follows an exciting month for DeBose, who has recently received rave reviews for her performance as Anita in Steven Spielberg’s film adaption of West Side Story, earning her Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award nominations.

​​​​​​​Academy of the Arts, a new, west-suburban, non-profit academic and art school projected to open in fall 2025, will host its first fundraiser gala and concert at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at North Central College's Wentz Concert Hall in Naperville. The concert will feature stars from some of Broadway's biggest shows.

Producers and co-Presidents of the Prom Committee are excited that the National Tour of the 2019 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Musical THE PROM will play at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from January 25 – February 6.

Producers and co-presidents of the Prom Committee announced today that the National Tour of the 2019 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Musical THE PROM will play at Overture Center for the Arts from Tuesday, March 22 through Sunday, March 27.

Visiting THE PROM in original stage form will be refreshing for those who know only the Netflix version. It's as if someone grabbed a theatrical scouring pad and scrubbed away all the glitzy, feel-good 'Glee'-dom that made Murphy's take feel slightly sugar-rushed. On stage, THE PROM is refreshingly edgier, campier, and just a smidge more foul-mouthed than in the movie, albeit still unrealistic and all too tidy in the end...

The inimitable Sandra Bernhard will once again grace the live stage at Joe's Pub in New York City for annual holiday run of shows December 26th through 31st with her all new show Sandra Bernhard “Bern It Down”.

This evening, Wicked on Broadway, will welcome actor Jordan Barrow to its principal cast in the role of Boq. The role marks Barrow's Broadway debut, as well as the first Black actor to play the role in North America.
