Creating a stage musical of Mrs. Doubtfire, a much beloved 90’s film with an even more beloved Robin Williams at its helm, could in theory be disastrous. Happily, my inner child is thrilled to report that Kevin McCollum and Jamie Wilson’s adaptation is not only a sensitive homage to the original, but delivers compelling performances and a modern twist that combine to create a nostalgic, relatable…and hilarious piece of theatre.

The Marsh Berkeley presents Josh Kornbluth’s engaging and enlightening autobiographical monologue Citizen Brain, told in Kornbluth’s inimitable humorous, intelligent, and forthright style. Inspired to provide a helping hand, Kornbluth began to immerse himself in the study of brain disease at the Global Brain Health Institute.

​​​​​​​Fan favorite Marga Gomez returns to The Marsh San Francisco for workshop performances of her latest work, Swimming With Lesbians. Taking place on The Celesbian cruise ship, this solo sapphic searing spoof follows the adventures of high-spirited poolside emcee Pru Perez. Passengers look up to Pru as a leader and Boss Lesbian of the sea – until the fateful sunny day of the Wet T-Shirt Relay Race when an old boarding school nemesis appears and Pru suddenly finds herself deep in murky waters. 

Cleveland Play House will bring its 2022-2023 season to a close with the world premiere production of Ken Ludwig's Moriarty: A New Sherlock Holmes Adventure. Running April 29 through May 21 in the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square.

ODC/Dance has announced the program for its annual SUMMER SAMPLER. Two-time Grammy winning Comedian Lewis Black announced today 23 new dates for his 2023 OFF THE RAILS TOUR that will include stops throughout North America. Tickets will go on-sale beginning Friday, May 5th at 10am (local time) with Official Fan Club pre-sale starting Mon, May 1.
