On Sunday 12 May 2019 at London's Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, there will be two concerts of The Best of… Rock Musicals for the benefit of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust. It will be the 20th Anniversary production from the same team who for the last 19 years have presented The Night of 1000 Voices at the Royal Albert Hall and elsewhere.

Scenario Two have announced further casting for the London debut of the acclaimed Broadway musical The Light in the Piazza. The Light in the Piazza will be performed in a full staging at the Royal Festival Hall in a limited run of only twenty performances directed by Olivier award-winner, Daniel Evans, designed by Robert Jones with costumes by Brigitte Reiffenstuel, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Mick Potter. The ravishing score will be played by the 35 piece orchestra of Opera North under the baton of Kimberly Grigsby, conductor of the original Lincoln Center production.

British theatre composer Nick Butcher releases his musical film, Loved Before, staring Kayleigh Mcknight (Tina, Jesus Christ Superstar) and directed by Stephen Whitson (Hamilton, 42nd Street). The cast also includes Prince Plocky (Coriolanus, Lazerus) and Anne Vanderelst (credit). The film features the original song, He's Been Loved Before, with Music by Nick Butcher and Lyrics by Nick Butcher and Tom Ling.

Paul Taylor-Mills has announced Night Caps, an informal late-night concerts series as part of MT Fest UK at The Other Palace. These informal and intimate solo concerts will take place in the Studio nightly throughout the festival, and will be an opportunity to get to know some of the country's eminent musical theatre stars through the songs that shaped them, songs they might never get to sing, and songs from new works.

Some of the biggest stars of London's theatre scene will perform at what could be the most Christmassy concert in the capital this December, as West End and Broadway star Michael Xavier hosts Christmas with the Stars, accompanied by the students of the MX Masterclass.

Rob Houchen is starring as Eugene in the sci-fi musical hit Eugenius!, currently enjoying a second run at The Other Palace. He has previously played Gibran in Broken Wings and Marius in Les Miserables and has also released two EPs.

Written by Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins, 'EUGENIUS!' tells the story of Eugene, a teenage boy whose nightly dreams of a distant world of heroes and villains may just be the ticket to him creating his very own comic book movie in Hollywood. Joined by his best friends 'Janey' and 'Feris', our comic writing genius must discover the true meaning of growing up, finding the superhero within, saving the world from both earthbound villains and possibly those from distant galaxies, and along the way, falling in love.

Ahead of their opening night on 1 September, Eugenius! hosted an acoustic media night to give previews of some songs and a Q&A with the cast and creators. Eugenius! is returning to The Other Palace for a limited run this September.

A galaxy of West End stars are joining the cast for the eagerly awaited return - by popular demand - of out-of-this-world British musical Eugenius! for a 6-week season at The Other Palace from Saturday 1 September 2018.

'The Hero - West End and Friends Tribute' is being released in November 2018 to mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War One and will raise funds for Help For Heroes.
