Zog is roaring back to the stage in 2023! Based on the bestselling book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler, the smash-hit stage adaptation from Freckle Productions is flying across the UK throughout Spring and Summer, opening at The Capitol, Horsham on Friday 10 February and culminating in a month-long Summer Season at The Lowry, Salford from Thursday 3 August.  

Bristol Old Vic begins 2023 with a series of blockbuster titles, produced in partnership with some of the UKs leading theatre companies. Tickets go on sale to members from today. Shows include Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, Pride and Prejudice* (*Sort of), and more!

Featured Artist Sheku Kanneh-Mason plays Ernest Bloch's Schelomo  (26 Feb) under Finnish conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste in a programme that also includes excerpts from Berlioz Roméo et Juliette and Sibelius's First Symphony.

Fane, the independent programmer of Crazy Coqs at Brasserie Zédel in Piccadilly, has announced that after six very happy years programming the venue, they will be passing on the programming baton at the end of 2022.

Improbable have announced the full cast and creative team for An Improbable Musical, a Royal and Derngate Northampton and Improbable production. Following its critically acclaimed premiere in Northampton this February, An Improbable Musical will open at the Exeter Northcott on 27 September before a limited London run at Hackney Empire from 21 October. It will then tour the UK in spring 2023, including Gulbenkian Theatre (13 – 15 April), with further tour dates to be announced.

Cameron Mackintosh has invited Stephen Sondheim’s old friends to join him in celebrating his extraordinary talents and legacy at the Sondheim Theatre which was recently gloriously rebuilt in Sondheim’s honour and thanks the cast and company and everyone involved for agreeing to a special screening which will allow over 2,500 to see the performance.

Tickets for a live screening at the Prince Edward Theatre of the sold-out Sondheim's OLD FRIENDS Gala are to be released today, 30 March 2022.
