The smash-hit play The Shark is Broken will make waves on Broadway this summer after critically acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and on London's West End.

After an off-Broadway run and sold-out performances across North America, Six Chick Flicks (...or a Legally Blonde Pretty Woman Dirty Danced on the Beaches while writing a Notebook on the Titanic) is returning to SoHo Playhouse, May 18 through June 4.

THE PRINCESS BRIDE won no Oscars, was a moderate box office success ($30.8 million on a $16 million production budget), and had only a few established TV stars (Billy Crystal, Peter Falk, and Andre the Giant) when it was released, However, it is listed as 50th in Bravo's '100 Funniest Movies' and 88th on the American Film Institute's list of the 100th greatest film love stories.

Classics like “The Man I Love” and “Sweet Georgia Brown” - performed by Emmaline as Jeannie Staples in the film - sit beside powerful new songs inspired by the film, like Keb’ Mo’s “Take Me Higher”, Larkin Poe’s “Right Place Right Time”, and Terri Lyne Carrington and Dianne Reeves modern interpretation of “Someone To Watch Over Me.”

Nathan Lane returns to Broadway this season in the new play Pictures From Home! JEAN LOUISA KELLY – the stage and screen star from the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods, and the movies Uncle Buck, Mr. Holland's Opus, The Fantasticks, and Top Gun: Maverick – will return to The Laurie Beechman Theatre with “Anything Can Happen!” for two additional shows after her sold-out New York concert debut earlier this year. The encore performances will take place Friday, March 31 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, April 1 at 9:30 PM.

Cindy Williams, a star of stage and screen and one half of the iconic duo, 'Laverne & Shirley' has passed away at the age of 75. 

Hansel and Gretel is Storybook Theatre's award-winning musical retelling of the famous fairy tale. The popular musical about the brother and sister who leave home and follow bread crumbs through the theatre, meet a funny witch, a wacky bird, have all kinds of adventures and along the way learn that no matter what trouble you are in, it's never a good idea to run away. It's a happy, fun show, inspired by the beloved story from the Brothers Grimm.

Moose on the Loose, a comedy about an Italian family and a Canadian moose, written by Dina Morrone, directed by Peter Flood and produced by Dina Morrone and Benjamin Scuglia tp play at Theatre West.
