Breton Tyner-Bryan's award-winning Broadway Dance Drama short, WEST OF FRANK, will premiere at the London Fashion Film Festival. The film recently won Audience and Best Experimental awards at AFFI Berlin and Barcelona.

Get ready for the west coast premiere of the multi-award-winning film, West of Frank, at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Directed by Breton Tyner-Bryan, this film explores the metaphysical energy of the historic Jefferson Market Library and features a cast of 12 Broadway performers.

WEST OF FRANK, a new queer dance drama film by Breton Tyner-Bryan, will make its New York premiere at the Chelsea Film Festival. The film explores the historic Jefferson Market Library and the Women's House of Detention in Manhattan's Greenwich Village through the medium of dance.

The film features Gilbert Bolden lll (New York City Ballet), Rhaamell Burke-Missouri (Hadestown Broadway, King Kong Broadway), Elisa Clark (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Mark Morris Dance Group), James Jude Johnson (Fiddler On the Roof), Heather Parcells (A Chorus Line Broadway, Chicago), Randy Castillo (Wicked Broadway), and more.

The Queer Dance Drama Short recently won the Raw Selection Award and Official Selection at Berlin Commercial Film Festival. It will make its International Premiere in Berlin, Germany August 21, 2023 .

Tariq TrotterTariq Trotter returned to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss the new Off-Broadway adaption of Black No More, which he stars in and wrote the music and lyrics for with the Roots. The New Group has announced that the new musical Black No More will begin previews January 18, in advance of an Official Opening Night now set for Tuesday, February 15, a schedule update due to Covid-19.  Previews were previously slated to begin January 11.

The New Group has announced complete casting for the world premiere production of Black No More.  This new musical features Book by John Ridley, Music and Lyrics by Tariq Trotter, Music Supervision, Orchestrations and Vocal Arrangements by Daryl Waters, Choreography by Bill T. Jones and Direction by Scott Elliott.
