Broadway Backwards, a celebration of LGBTQ+ stories told through the great songs of musical theater, returns to Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street, NYC) on Monday, May 23, 2022. A star-studded evening filled with triumph and joy, Broadway Backwards salutes love in all forms through the vitality of live theater.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS announced today that it is awarding $300,000 in emergency grants to immediately help the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. On behalf of the entire Broadway and New York City theater community - those onstage, offstage and in the audience - Broadway Cares is providing $100,000 each to Global Giving's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, the International Rescue Committee and Project HOPE.
